Hey, I bet you didn't know that I used to live in Key West! Curious as to what you did there and thought. Did you enjoy the Seven Mile Bridge?
You lived in Key West? What were you doing there??? Were you a hippy for a little while playing some music in some clubs, by any chance? Running the chicken coop? I thought it was a very unique place...a strange combo of people flock there. I def enjoyed being able to drink in public. Beaches were slightly disappointing but we found one near the base which was nice..in the nature reserve. I did enjoy the 7 mile bridge but was driving so it went by very quickly. We were there in July so it was UNGODLY hot!
I lived there with a gf one summer during semesters. I was the asst. manager of a pizza place, real cool, haha. Plus I was underage, so I couldn't really enjoy the place. But I visited several times once I was of age. The beaches aren't great, but that is b/c of the geography that makes the Keys possible. But the beach at the state park that you went to is my favorite as well. It's definitely a place that attracts people wanting to hide away from the rest of the world. :) And for a vacation, that is usually exactly what I want too!
